Anonymous: lol its not chips you noob.. its French fried potatoes
fLARP: Well, I suppose that all comes down to where they were first created. Personally, I don't really give a shit. I love the fuckin' things no matter what they're called. And, you'd be hard pressed to find a day called 'Chipday'
fLARP: Hey, though in the US the call them chips at Arthur Treachers. Don't see too many of them anymore. They've got good food.
Anonymous: ohh.. fri-day, i get it now...
Anonymous: french fry = scrawny american attempt to cook a chip (as in Mcdonalds) the picture is of proper chips (as in the UK - home of the chip) americans won't understand this as they still don't understand about the earth circling the sun, NOT the universe circling them - although if they get any fatter, it might just start to do that) american = big fat, stupid, inbred, fucking LOSER!
Anonymous: French Fries were invented in Northern Belgium or Southern Netherlands, so technically chips (as in chipped potatoes) is a more accurate name than French Fries. The earliest recorded name is Vlaamse frieten (Flemish fries)
